It is easier to build a list of potential clients. After working with multiple clients, I found that companies build very generalized lists. Companies don’t specify the list of employees, industry, revenue, etc.
Firstly, we need to decide which industry we want to target. Then we need to define the size of the company, revenue, region, and position of the person we want to talk with.
We need to define it as follows:
- Size of the Company:
1-10 employees
10-20 employees
20-50 employees
50-100 employees
100-250 employees
Custom
- Region:
United States
United Kingdom
India
Uruguay
Other
Revenue:
$100k- $500k
$500k- $1Mn
$1Mn - $2.5 Mn
$2.5 Mn - $5 Mn+
- Industry
Specify over here (Like Fintech, Ed-tech, etc)
- Funding Criteria:
Seed
Series A
Series B
Series C
Then, we need to go to a website called Crunchbase. Crunchbase has huge directories of companies that recently got funding or launched. We are not able to find the contact details on Crunchbase, but we can get detailed information about the company we want to know about.
We need to specify over here what criteria we are looking for, and we have a list of companies that can be our potential clients.
Then, after collecting the briefs about the companies we want to work with, we need to find the contact details of those companies. We need to collect data like email, LinkedIn URL, phone number, location, etc.
There are multiple software in the market to find the contact details of companies' decision makers. We are currently using Apollo.io to extract the contact details of decision makers.
We just need to collect the company name from Crunchbase. Then we need to paste in apollo in the company section. Then we need to define everything. like job titles, funding, revenue, headquarters location, person location, etc.
Then we can get a precise list of potential clients.
Then we need to build multiple email servers so we can reach out to them properly.
Here is how outreach works:
Firstly, we need to buy 4-5 variations of the main domain.
Then we need to connect them with Google Workspace, add all SPF, Dmarc, and Dkim, and integrate all trackers like Trackly, CRM, etc.
We are using a couple of software programs, like Instantly and Lemlist, for email automation.
After creating Google Workspace accounts, we can integrate them with Instantly.
Then we need to warm-up the emails for at least 10-15 days.
So, Google can’t trigger our emails as spam.
After that, we can set up multiple campaigns with different scripts and approaches.
You will start seeing traction after that, for sure.
